Join DiscordThis guide will walk you through your first session with CS2.CAM. In just a few minutes, you'll be watching your first demo and exploring the analysis tools. No complex setup required—just sign in and start analyzing.
Whether you want to review a professional match from HLTV or analyze your own gameplay, CS2.CAM makes it simple to get started.
Visit cs2.cam and click the Sign In button in the top right corner.
We support multiple sign-in options:
After signing in, you'll be redirected to the main dashboard. Free accounts have full access to watch any professional match from HLTV—no payment required to get started.
From the dashboard, use the demo selector at the top of the screen to find matches.
You can browse by:
All matches from HLTV are available for free users. Simply select an event, then choose a match from the list. Once selected, the available maps from that series will appear.
If you have a paid plan, you can also upload your own demos by clicking the Upload Demo button. This supports GOTV demos from matchmaking, FACEIT, and other platforms.
Click on a map to load it into the 2D viewer. Select a round from the round timeline at the bottom of the screen.
Playback controls:
The 2D viewer displays all player positions in real-time from a top-down perspective. You'll see player indicators showing health, armor, weapon, and facing direction. Utility effects like smokes, molotovs, and flashbangs are rendered as they happen.
Use the speed slider to watch at 0.5x for detailed analysis or 2x for quick reviews. The timeline shows key events like kills and bomb plants, making it easy to jump to important moments.
Activate Paint Mode from the toolbar to annotate the map. This is perfect for marking positions, drawing execute paths, or highlighting areas of interest.

Found an interesting round? Save it to a playlist for later reference. Click the bookmark icon or press B to add the current round to a playlist.

Playlists can be organized into folders and shared with teammates (on Team plans). Each saved round includes a timestamp and optional notes to help you remember why you saved it.
