Join DiscordThe Playbook is a strategy detector. For every team in the database it loads the full set of plays they run on each map — defaults, executes, fakes, utility setups — so you can study them one at a time or combine them into more specific situations.
There is also an Opponent View: instead of the strategies the team executes, you see the strategies opponents have run AGAINST them. Useful to find what setups have worked or failed when facing this team.
Detections are pre-computed for every official team and every map, so as soon as you pick a team you have their entire playbook ready to study or learn from. There is nothing to wait for.
Beyond the shared filters, the Playbook adds its own controls to narrow the detected strategies down to the exact rounds you want to study:
Every detected play can be opened directly from the Playbook. There is no need to jump back to the demo viewer.
Clicking a strategy opens an inline player that walks through every round where it was detected, showing the same 2D view as the rest of the app.

Opening a detected strategy directly from the Playbook
Press the + button on multiple strategies to combine them. The Playbook will only show rounds where all selected plays happened together.
Example from the GIF: FaZe on Nuke, AWP start in Garage + the enemy throws diagonal smokes. The combined view returns only the rounds where both conditions match, so you can study how the team reacts to that specific setup.
Combinations work across sides too — if you toggle Opponent View while a tactic is being built, the active side flips automatically so the new selection lines up with the right team.

Combining several plays into a single situation in the Playbook
Press the – button instead of + to exclude a play. The result shows the situation you wanted MINUS the rounds that contain the excluded play.
Same example as before, but excluding the diagonal smokes: you get the AWP-in-Garage rounds where the opponent did NOT throw smokes. Great for isolating what changes when one element of a setup is missing.
Once a combination is dialed in, you can save it as a custom tactic. Saved tactics live alongside the auto-detected strategies and stay there for future Anti-Strat sessions.
Build the combination with + and – buttons, click Save, give it a name, and confirm. The tactic is stored against the current map for the team that owns the playbook session and is loaded automatically next time.
